The Regional Passport office, Hyderabad has issued a “Record breaking 64,000” plus Passports in September, 2011. This is a new record in the country, said Dr. Srikar Reddy, Regional Passport Officer here today.
With this RPO Hyderabad has issued more than 1,19,000 passports in the last two months.
Dr.Srikar Reddy acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the staff members for their extra effort and enthusiasm in achieving this feat. The AIPEA National President Vasudev congratulated the staff which worked in double shifts to clear the backlogs in the last two months, in spite of fewer working days owing to bandhs, strikes, rasta rokos etc.
